Okay this is my situation. I got accepted at the Borough of Manhattan Community College in New York. Now I'm trying to complete the registration process. I got a letter stating in the mail that in order for me to finish registering for school that I need to take a CUNY Assessment Test for admission, and for placement in college credit courses. I couldn't make he appointment because of my location (I live in Arkansas) so I emailed the testing center in order to test at a different time but before spring semester. I'm very concerned about this because I have been emailing and calling the school about seeing if I can take the test online or at a local college or library. They haven't been answering my emails or calls and I don't have an advisor. Something is telling me that I need to move to New York early and prior to my move in date at the towers to take this test and finish the registration process. But I also look at the negative factors about this: I won't have a place to stay until jan 19., I'm short on cash, with no job, cannot get a loan, and where will my luggage go. I don't know what to do. Can someone give me some advice to my situation that will help benefit me. (Only serious people and also don't add any stupid, dumb, and negative comments.) Thanks...
