This Andreas Strassmeier is a very likely Oklahoma City bombing co-conspirator. Many investigators believe that he is the John Doe #2 that the FBI suddenly stopped looking for. There have been rumors floating around my home state of Oklahoma since we first heard about all of the players involved. I have read on many fairly reputable websites that Andreas Strassmeier lived in Oklahoma for a short time and served as a sort of military/militia trainer for the white separatists who lived (and still live!) at a compund called "Elohim City". This compound is located in the hills right on to the Oklahoma-Arkansas border, very near Fort Smith, Arkansas and Muldrow, Oklahoma. Strassmeier apparently spent 6 years in the German Army where he served in an elite intelligence unit. His specialty was reportedly disinformation. He lived at Elohim City where he came into contact with Timothy McVeigh and many other lesser known, but still very active, white separatists. He was known aroun Elohim City as "Andy the German" and reportedly made it known that he was related to these original founders of the NSDAP or the Nazi party in the 1920s. It has been reported that Andreas Strassmeier is the son of Gunter Strassmeir (or Strassmeier), who was one of Chancellor Helmut Kohl's advisors. Kohl was Chancellor of West Germany/Germany during the 1980s and 1990s. Can anyone confirm this or debunk it? I can not find the name of an early NSDAP/NAZI part member with the last name Strassmeier or Strassmeir.
